Yang Se Jong Talks About Good Scripts And Appearance In “Coffee Friends”

Yang Se Jong recently joined fashion magazine Elle in a photo shoot for the Good Read campaign, a book campaign that supports children from low-income families.

The actor chose Italian writer Alessandro Baricco’s novel “Questa Storia” as his campaign book. He even read a passage from the book at the photo shoot with a lyrical and delicate atmosphere.

In an accompanying interview, Yang Se Jong talked about scripts and variety show “Coffee Friends.” He shared, “A good book is like a good book. When I read it, it purifies me. The scenario I took on a trip was so good that I even cried on the plane.”

Currently, Yang Se Jong is appearing in tvN’s “Coffee Friends.” When asked about his experience on the show, he said, “It was really fun. Time flew by because I was with good people. The production team didn’t ask me to do anything, so I think I just showed myself as I am.”

The proceeds from the Good Read Campaign will be donated to support education and school meals for children from low-income families, and campaign books will be sold at major Internet and offline bookstores starting from January 18.

On another note, Yang Se Jong has been confirmed to play the lead in a new historical drama that will air sometime in the second half of this year.
