[ASKKPOP] Yoochun and Kim Sae Ron receive rookie awards at 'Blue Dragon Awards'

Some of the most prestigious actors in South Korea gathered at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on December 17 for the '35th Blue Dragon Film Awards' of 2014!  Two of the notable winners of this splendid night were young stars,YoochunandKim Sae Ron, awarded as the best rookies of the year.

Upon receiving his award, Yoochun said, "I am bewildered to receive an award like this just as the ceremony begins.  My family is here--thank you.  I sincerely thank you.  While filming a movie for the first time, I learned that a lot of people endured difficulty filming and I learned a lot of things.  I thank you so much for giving me a good award for my first movie and will act with more diligence."

Other notable nominees he had beaten out wereKim Woo Bin, Siwan,andChoi Jin Hyuk.

As for the female portion, Kim Sae Ron beat outKim Yoo Jung, Yi Som, and more for her performance in 'A Girl at My Door (Dohee-ya).'

She said, "I'd like to give thanks to DirectorLee Chang Dong, DirectorJung Joo Ri,Bae Doo Na, andSong Sae Byukfor helping me win this award.  In the future, I will work harder for more good results."
