I am currently in the stage of casting actors and the artist is working on the scenario. The shooting date is not yet decided, and it is thought that the opening will be next summer as soon as possible, and next winter if the shooting is later than expected.

The script is written by Seon Il Il, who participated in the planning and production as in the first part. Directed by Kim Jung-hoon, director of the movie 'Detective: The Big Ning' (2015) and 'Cheeky Romance' (2010). Kim co-wrote 'The Phone' (2015), 'Wandering Blade' (2013) and 'Spy' (2012).

The actors are saying that they are positive because they have a strong affection for the previous movie, 'Pirate: The Bandit who went to the sea' (Director Lee Seok-hoon, 2014). The movie was successful when it was opened with 866,6208 people (provided by the Korea Post).

'Pirate: The Sea to the Sea,' which was unveiled in 2014, is an action adventure movie depicting an outrageous confrontation between pirates, bandits and nation forces who are searching for the first ever incident of the extermination of a wharf by the attack of whales before the establishment of Joseon. In the early days of the founding of Joseon, it was born as a fiction drama, adding artistic imagination to the historical fact that there was no national bird for ten years until 1403 because it could not receive a new flying bird after returning it to Ming Dynasty.

In this work, Kim Nam-gil was the headmaster of the bandits from Goryeo Musa, while Son Ye-jin was the chief of the pirate gods who overcame the sea. Kim Nam-gil, who took off the charm of a charismatic man, proved to be a comic genre. Son Ye-jin, who led many movies to box-office, also showed a charismatic and anti-war charm that had never been shown in any work, and built a solid story.

Part 2 depicts the adventures of pirates seeking ancient royal treasures that have disappeared. Kim Nam-gil, Chang-sae Jeong and Son Ye-jin take on the moonlight.
