While the Ming Dynasty made reinforcement negotiations with foreign power without the Joseon knowing and the Joseon military couldn't do anything because of the Ming Dynasty not going after the foreign enemies, the foreign power that was in the south attacked the Jinju Fort.

Poong-sin Soo-gil (Kim Gyoo-cheol) gained recognition from the Ming Dynasty and had the Jinju Fort fall. He ordered everything in the Jinju Fort to be destroyed.

When he realized the Jinju Fort was in danger, Seon Jo (Kim Tae-woo) asked Song Eung-chang (Choi Il-hwa) for help. Song Eung-chang said, "Until when are you going to fool me? Did you think your luck would continue?"

Seon Jo apologized and said, "Send me the Ming soldiers. Otherwise everything and everyone here will be destroyed.

However, Song Eung-chang said, "You caused it" and didn't want to help. "I can't talk to you. How can you call yourself a leader of a country?" he said.

"No wonder the country is going through such hardship because the ruler has no faith. You might as well have slaughtered them yourself. Even the enemies' leader has more faith than you". Song Eung-chang didn't help Seon Jo, but instead he just sat and watched the Jinju Fort get attacked.

The Jinju Fort finally fell because the Ming Dynasty didn't help. As if to repay back its previous defeat, the foreign powers slaughtered 7,000 or so of the Joseon soldiers and 30,000 or so people of the country.

Meanwhile, Song Eung-chang who didn't see eye to eye with Seon Jo, tried to hold hands with Gwang Hae-goon (No Yeong-hak).
