"Phantom Detective" depicts a detective named Hong Gil-dong who has no fear, no feelings, no memories and no friends but has a 99% success rate in any case he deals with. However, there is one case he hasn't been able to solve for 20 years and one day he stumbles across a shocking truth involving a gang organization.Lee Je-hoonis detective Hong Gil-dong. He is bad-tempered and can't be bothered to do anything but is obsessed with cases and has a 99% success rate.

Lee Je-hoonis prepared to come out with a new character. A recent poster reflects on how bad-tempered he is in the new movie.
