"Rosy Lovers" Lee Jang-woo, too nice

On the forty-second episode of the MBC weekend drama "Rosy Lovers", Park Cha-dol (Lee Jang-woo) became the scapegoat but he kept his silence.

Baek Man-jong (Jeong Bo-seok) who participated in the borough head election put his actress daughter Baek Jang-mi (Sunhwa) forward to ease his way in the election. However, her secret of having a child got out and his approval rating dropped.

Baek Man-jong thought it through and bribed the owner of the house Baek Jang-mi and Park Cha-dol lived in and made it look like she had been abandoned. Jang-mi suddenly became the target of pity and Baek Man-jong's ratings went up again.

The problem was that Park Cha-dol and Park Cho-rong (Lee Go-eun) were exposed to the public and became scapegoats to the scandal. Park Jang-mi's fan club boycotted against his products and Park Cho-rong was harassed by reporters who came by her kindergarten with questions like "Do you know your mother is Baek Jang-mi?" and "Do you want to live with your mom or dad?"

Park Kang-tae (Han Ji-sang) eventually announced, "My brother didn't abandon anyone. I am his witness. It was Baek Jang-mi who abandoned her daughter". But to no avail, Jeong Si-nae (Lee Mi-sook) Park Cha-dol's mother, asked So Geum-ja (Im Ye-jin) to reason things but Baek Man-jong told her, "It's your fault you didn't stop them when they started seeing each other in the first place".

It was no use, even when Jeong Si-nae talked to the house owner and the restaurant where Park Ch-dol used to work at with his child. His family had to go through a lot as his sister Park Se-ra (Yoon Ah-jeong) also had to deal with her superior bad-mouthing her brother.

However, Park Cha-dol himself was calm and unresponsive about the whole situation. When Baek Jang-mi told him she was going back to Korea to explain things, he said, "No don't come. Time will handle it". He stayed calm because he loved her too much when she should've been all out handling the matter for the sake of his friends and family.

Baek Jang-mi stilled planned to return to the country to make things better but was stopped by her father.
