"The Handmaiden" is a movie about a wealthy lady who inherited her riches from her parents, an emperor who wants her wealth, and a servant and the heir to her wealth who is offered a deal from the emperor.

CJ Entertainment released stills ofPark Chan-wookand the rest of the cast enjoying the heated moment of Cannes.

"The Handmaiden" was released for the first time through Cannes and it achieved great reviews about the story, actors and their synergy.

The release date in Korea is in June 1st.
