"Whistle Blower", will it succeed?

Will"Whistle Blower"follow the footsteps of "The Crucible" and "Unbowed"?

"The Crucible", based on a group of children with disabilities who suffer physical and sexual abuse, added up to over 4.6 million audiences. It also had a big political and social influence as a special law was revised regarding sexual abuse and punishments.

"Unbowed" was released in 2012 based on a terrorism incident in 2007. It successfully broke through 3.4 million. It's a story about a single person fighting against the judiciary and the heated issue of society.

"The Attorney"is based on 5 cases in the 80s which changed a lawyer's life completely and the people surrounding the case. It held a message that penetrated the present society and earned the connection of all generations.

While truth-based movies like these bring out the realistic problems we face in our society,"Whistle Blower", a movie based on a stem cell scandal that broke out 10 years ago is expected to bring about another syndrome.

"Whistle Blower"is based on a manipulation of stem cells in 2005 which caused the nation to rise. Director Lim Soon-rae said, "It was 2 years ago when I got the offer to make this movie. It was a time of lies back then. I decided to go ahead with this movie to ventilate the fact that the truth is in fact very worthy of our society and the role of the media to protect that worthiness".

Truth-based movies like these are considered social support beyond movies that give encouragement to the public to overcome these injustice situations.

"Whistle Blower"is starred byPark Hae-il,Yoo Yeon-seokandLee Kyeong-yeongand will be released on the 2nd of October.
