Sandra Hüller ([ˈzandʁa ˈhʏlɐ]; born 30 April 1978) is a German actress. She is best known internationally for her starring role in Maren Ade’s comedy Toni Erdmann which premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. Hüller starred in two award-winning films that premiered in the main competition of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival: the French courtroom drama Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet, which won the Palme d’Or, and Jonathan Glazer’s Holocaust drama The Zone of Interest, which won the Grand Prix.
