Leessang announced that their new eighth album which will be
released on May 25 is “an album that took us 3 years to finish, and it’s
concept is ‘unplugged.’”

Leessang says on May 15, “We’ve been thinking about this
unplugged album since 2009, when we were working on our sixth album. We also
held so many auditions too gather top musicians to form a band.”

They then added, “Unplugged album is made without any
electric instruments, and is made only with analog sounds created by human. It
is one of the things that all musicians dream about making, however, due to the
smaller market and production cost, they can get hesitant.”

Leessang stated through their agency that, “Music has been
part of our lives since we were poor, and we are doing our best to invest in
our dreams and return our gratitude to our fans. We are not sure what we are
going to come up with next, but what we can promise is that we will not stop
trying as long as we are able to sing.”

Leessang will have the first pre-release of the album on May 18.
